Refund Policy — Aski
This Refund Policy describes how we handle cancellations, refunds and charges in Aski. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions and should be read together with them.
1. Scope and payment method
Aski is sold through two channels, depending on where you make the purchase:
- Web (app.aski.dev): payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as the Merchant of Record for Aski. This means Paddle is the seller at the point of sale, issues the receipt and handles applicable taxes. On your statement the charge may appear as "Paddle" or "Paddle.net". This policy applies to those purchases.
- Android app (Google Play): payments are processed through Google Play Billing and are also subject to Google Play's refund policy. Cancellations and refunds for purchases made in the app are managed from your Google Play account.
2. Free trial period
The Basic and Pro monthly plans include a 7-day free trial when you subscribe via the web. No charge is made during the trial. You can cancel at any time before the 7 days end and you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, the first plan charge is made automatically at the end of the trial and your subscription begins. Annual plans and credit packs do not include a trial period.
3. Subscriptions
Subscriptions (monthly or annual) renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel them.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for and then does not renew.
- As a general rule, payments for periods that have already started are not refundable on a pro-rated basis for unused days, unless applicable law provides otherwise or one of the cases in section 5 applies.
- If you cancel during the free trial period, no charge is generated.
4. Credit packs
Credit packs (burst packs) are one-time purchases credited to your account immediately. Once credited and once you begin consuming them, they are non-refundable, as they represent access to a digital service delivered instantly. If you purchased a pack by mistake and have not yet consumed any of its credits, contact us and we will evaluate a refund.
5. Refunds for errors or technical issues
We will issue a full or partial refund, as appropriate, in cases such as:
- Duplicate charges or an incorrect amount.
- A charge after a cancellation that was correctly requested before renewal.
- Inability to use the service due to a technical failure attributable to Aski that we have been unable to resolve within a reasonable time.
Nothing in this policy limits the consumer protection rights that applicable law grants you (including, where applicable, the right of withdrawal within the legal timeframes).
6. How to request a refund or cancel
To cancel your subscription or request a refund, write to us at contacto@aski.dev stating your account email and, if you have it, the order or receipt number. We handle requests within a reasonable time, normally within a maximum of 5 business days. For web purchases processed by Paddle, you can also contact Paddle's buyer support at paddle.net using the details on your receipt. Once approved, the refund is credited to the original payment method; the time it takes to appear depends on your bank or provider.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in the service or in applicable law. The current version will always be available on this page, with the last updated date.
