Delete my Aski account
You have three ways to manage the deletion of your data in Aski. Option 1 is recommended because it is immediate and requires no manual intervention. Option 2 is the fallback if you cannot access the app. Option 3 lets you remove specific data without closing your account.
Option 1 — Delete your account FROM the app (recommended)
- Open Aski on your phone.
- Go to Settings (gear icon).
- Tap "Delete my account".
- Confirm by typing
DELETE(orELIMINARif your app is in Spanish) and enter your current password. - Deletion is immediate and permanent.
What gets erased immediately: your chat history with all connections, your Odoo credentials (URL, database, user, encrypted API Key), the vocabulary the app learned from your queries, your FCM token, and all active sessions on your devices.
Option 2 — Delete your account by email
If you lost access to the app or prefer to do it in writing:
- Send an email to contacto@aski.dev.
- Subject: Delete account.
- Include in the body the email registered in Aski (the one you used to create your account).
- We process the request within 30 calendar days maximum.
Option 3 — Delete partial data without closing your account
Useful if you only want to disconnect one Odoo instance or clear the chat history of a specific connection, while keeping your subscription and other connections active:
- Open Aski → My connections.
- Select the connection you want to remove.
- Tap the menu (⋮) → "Delete this connection".
- The encrypted credentials for that instance and the associated chat history are removed. Your Aski account and other connections remain intact.
What is kept due to legal requirements
After deleting your account:
- The billing history (subscriptions, credit purchases, transactions) is kept for 5 years, per Peru's tax regulations (SUNAT).
- Your internal identifier is associated with an anonymized email of the form
deleted_<id>@aski.local— without your real email or password, only to preserve the integrity of billing records.
